Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is a UK charity that provides free, accessible days out for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and additional needs, alongside their families. The site spans approximately 10 acres and includes a wide range of indoor and outdoor attractions, play areas and animal enclosures, welcoming large numbers of visitors throughout the year.

To support the safe operation of the site, Children’s Adventure Farm Trust worked with RED DAM Group to implement a surveillance solution that would provide clear visibility across public areas, staff facilities and operational spaces. The system needed to support safeguarding requirements while remaining discreet and appropriate for a family-focused environment.

The Solution

RED DAM Group partnered with Dahua Technology to deliver a comprehensive wireless surveillance system tailored to the varied operational demands of the site. The installation provides coverage across key indoor and outdoor areas, allowing staff to maintain effective oversight of visitor spaces while also protecting staff facilities and operational assets.

The system incorporates a range of Dahua cameras selected to balance image quality, coverage and reliability. These devices provide clear video in changing light conditions and support effective site monitoring, helping the Trust maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Centralised monitoring and recording enable authorised personnel to review footage and respond to incidents when required.

The installation was completed with consideration for the Trust’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the system could be introduced without disruption to visitors or staff. The flexible design allows the system to support current requirements while providing a platform that can be adapted as the site continues to evolve.
